Katy Ferguson

Katy joined the Dunedin South Medical Centre team in January 2021, she has a PhD in Sociology with a focus in Medical Ethics and has worked for several years in the health and disability sector, primarily in management roles.

While every day is different and sometimes it can be challenging, she enjoys working to ensure staff are well equipped to succeed within their roles. It’s rewarding to be a part of a practice that makes a difference to the community. Katy is passionate about working within systems to improve them; to better meet the needs of DSMC staff and the patients.
